In the heart of the Driftless region, originally built in 1903, the Andrew Johnson barn initially functioned as hay storage and a milking parlor. In 1989, it began its transformation into a 5 apartment multi-unit. In 2015, Ahern installed a comprehensive dry sprinkler and fire suppression system, approved by the state of Wisconsin, to ensure safety throughout the barn. All apartments are equipped with 100-amp electrical service. Retaining its original period charm, the barn has been thoughtfully updated to meet modern standards.
